History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Emerald grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. He keeps his brown hair in a flapper bob. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born into a rich family. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Doctor for the past few years.

Her blonde hair is lengthy. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born in the north to a Ruler, Vanchu learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Expand her business; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her hair is long and red with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small brown clips. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she feels kind of lost in life

History: Ernest was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Engraver. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
