Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Engong was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Aline was born with her father's beautiful face. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She's also a talented Dyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and she is content

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. She worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. She has achieved small success as a Tanner.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Felgrat is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His first spouse was a Carpenter, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
