History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Shanairla was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Shanairla's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off her debts

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Rosalind was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for her
