Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized tan coat. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. His ears are large.
Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He carries a battered halberd and tarnished spear as well. His white hair and beard is wavy and long. His gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: The child of a Blacksmith, who enjoyed hunting, Justin was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Justin was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Justin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: This malnourished man wears a black wide-brimmed hat and black clothes. His purple hair is greasy and uncared for. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Leucis took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.
History: Dabbledob was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
