Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Sculptor father left her crippled. After a long history of fighting, Synthrin and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Shanairla was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
