Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Frederick and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a white coat. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and doesn't want to be a navigator and was forced into it by her family

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Chaedi was born the youngest of three triplets. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Doctor and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
