History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Burana was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
