History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Grumbar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Tailor and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others

She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Euphemia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
