Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears silk and lounges about seductively. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Heian is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Heian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Description: 6'8" and muscular, this northern woman does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her brass crest is heavily combed to the left. Her eyes are gold and beady.

Personality: Gilkass wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Warrior, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Gilkass was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Sporting a golden mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. Her eyes are likewise green.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gerard will drive conversation. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During his travels, Gerard and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gerard discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gerard fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
