One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She comes from a rich western family. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Beatrice was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Beatrice alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
