He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was born in a small forest village. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He bought a sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a Apothecary, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by unlife.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Carter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
