History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She takes great joy in being the best Layabout in town.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
