History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He worked as a nervous Cartwright and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
