Senteq grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Senteq. History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital.
