Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears a brown shirt, with a black mid length skirt with black tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. She wears her golden hair down. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Kristryd is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A freak accident while working with her Engraver mother left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: She tends to wear a red poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'1" when asserting herself. Her chestnut hair is singed and shortened. Her eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: Standing 4'8", this woman tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her beige fur is greasy and uncared for. She has a dull look in her hazel eyes.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cask grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cask. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in the south. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
