History: Helja lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has worked as a Masseuse like her mother before her.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Riswynn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Travok has worked very hard to control his curse. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
