History: Born in the north to a Bookbinder, Donaar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bookbinder.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She now owns her own business.

History: She was born in a small island village. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
