History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Chaedi's homeland. Chaedi decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Menny grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her youth she was a Body Guard, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.
