She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by a spirit.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Baern will drive conversation. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Junk Dealer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Barber, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and doesn't want to be a barber and was forced into it by his family

This search led her directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Being a Herbalist kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
