History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has worked as a Shipwright like his mother before him.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Engong was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has achieved small success as a Shepherd.

History: He was born in the east. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Bella and her spouse have recently divorced.
