Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Simon enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Simon was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: She got into the Jeweler business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Jeweler. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Rosamund was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Art is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born in the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Art's homeland. Art decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind.
