History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Oblar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a roofer and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born in the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
