History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. She has achieved small success as a Tanner.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Rimple alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants.
