History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Flame enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gifted from a young age, Flame studied abroad. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her blonde hair is cut short. Her fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jarana grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jarana. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jarana fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
