History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. When Chad reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Ethereal lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is a great chef.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Stableman.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Born to a Bellfounder, his father struggled to pay the bills. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Jocelyn never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
