Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Description: This fat southern woman has a bulbous nose and wears bulky white painted plate armor. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her golden hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the east were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Description: A moderately attractive man, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His silver hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Hobart is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and regain custody of his daughter
