Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. The war was a terrible time for him, and Emerald does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Emerald was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Tailor, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Glassblower for the past few years.

When Tenena reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now mingles about in high society.
