Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Laucian was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Laucian's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new painter responsibilities is difficult

History: Gifted from a young age, Agnes studied abroad. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She struck the Soapmaker job and began her own company from there.
