He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
