Personality: Shamash hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Shamash hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
