Personality: Volen speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
