History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His childhood dream was to be a Cook, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Thava was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Thava's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
