Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gimgen grew up listening to his father's many stories. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Gimgen's homeland. Gimgen decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: This woman is very fat, and wears an entirely violet suit with brown socks and a vest with buckled shoes. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Mara is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a Bowyer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Mara has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he is renowned for his bright blue suits and hats. His red hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her brown hair is still thick. Her eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eida grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eida. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she wants revenge against illithids

Description: This dark-skinned male wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His white hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is content.
