Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Astaro was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Laborer, but she got bored and became a Mortician. She has achieved small success as a Mortician.

Description: She wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her red crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her red eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: 6'2" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears a tight fitting black shirt and pants. His silver hair is heavily combed to the right. His eyes are red.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Zephan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), and a wedding ring on his right hand. His hair is red, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: A plain young-adult man, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is greedy; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
