History: Shadow was born the youngest of three triplets. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Sage, and she later adopted a second son.

History: He was born in the east. Forcas was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Scribe. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her white fur, when down, is lengthy. Her eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: This tall, slender woman likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her brown hair is heavily combed to the right. This violet eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Mara hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her music career. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Mara was born with her father's beautiful face. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Dilettante profession.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her childhood dream was to be a Dilettante, but she was a colossal failure. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and wants to open a new tavern
