History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age her mother died while driving off some illithids. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in sai use. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Jarana was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Zykroff was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
