History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born in the north. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: Bilga lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Bilga was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Mason. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and doesn't want to be a mason and was forced into it by her family

History: Kilvar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This woman tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her blonde hair is wavy and long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. Being a Locksmith kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
