History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hoshû was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Shipwright. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Cloak was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Cloak's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shipwright for the past few years.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears a tight fitting yellow shirt and pants. She keeps her blonde hair in a pixie cut. Her skin is flawless and her brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Elven culture. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Thiala was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Gifted from a young age, Verin studied abroad. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
