History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ranala was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Simon was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was born in the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Knight. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She worked as a nervous Bowyer and found it very stressful. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many gnolls want him driven away
