Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His blonde hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Thervan hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Thervan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She is a Lamia in disguise. She found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Carpenter responsibilities is difficult; and she's looking for her big break
