History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Kallista alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair is short and golden. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Pikar will drive conversation. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Purah fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Anbera was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
