She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

When her mother died while fighting giants, the young Gadreel began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Gadreel was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.
