History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Meriele has worked very hard to control her curse. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Barber but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born into a rich family. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Lucan and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
