Upon awakening, Makaria discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Makaria fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: This woman loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Arava never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

History: The child of a Miner, who enjoyed hunting, Great was taken on many hunting expeditions. Great was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Great decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
