Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Crown-heir they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Herbalist, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and balancing his hectic life and new body guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Hugh's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Glassblower arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Glassblower, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Description: The light-skinned woman stands 5'2" and wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. She wears her chestnut hair up. Her fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Quelenna was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. She wears a feathered hat to cover her moderate length golden hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Dagnal is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Dagnal hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
