Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears a red tunic with white highlights, and long tan pants that bunch up around his shoes. His brown hair is knotted and matted. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: She is a physically imposing dark-skinned woman. She wears a white coat over a tan low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon her head. Her auburn hair is singed and shortened. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Paela embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and further expansion of business

Description: She wears just a black suit, and carries scythes. She keeps her white hair in a pixie cut. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her white eyes.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Guard business.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is greedy
