When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Veloptima was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Fisher. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and many gnolls want her driven away

History: Snagog was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural tiefling artifacts is his passion

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oloric grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oloric. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
