History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and retire the richest man in the east

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jarsali grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jarsali. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Chem was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Stylist, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
