Description: She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly crossbows and flails. Her hair is chestnut and curly. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Hecat is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Map Maker they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Barkeep, and she later adopted a second son.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student he started as a Fortune-teller, but he got bored and became a Locksmith. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new locksmith responsibilities is difficult
