She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. Pyntle enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a Cartwright, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the north to a Locksmith, Nicholas learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Roondar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Roondar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
